11 SUVs and pickups that stretch past 220 inches, led by a 266.8-inch Silverado HD

Parking a modern truck or SUV can mean measuring the driveway twice. Heavy-duty pickups lead the way at more than 260 inches, and the biggest full-size SUVs still top 220 inches. Here are eleven of the longest vehicles on sale, ranked from longest to shortest.

1. Chevrolet Silverado HD: The Length Champion

The Silverado HD Crew Cab measures 266.8 inches long, which makes it the longest vehicle in this lineup. That works out to more than 22 feet of truck from bumper to bumper, well beyond anything built as an SUV on this list. The next-longest SUV falls short by more than 38 inches.

The figure is specific to the Crew Cab configuration of the heavy-duty pickup, so it is the upper end of the Silverado HD range rather than a universal number. Anyone checking whether one fits a garage should confirm the exact cab and bed layout first.

2. Ford F-350 Super Duty: Ford’s Near Miss

Ford’s F-350 Super Duty length comes in at 266.20 inches, just a fraction behind the Chevrolet. A gap of roughly half an inch separates the two heavy-duty pickups at the top of the list.

A margin that narrow means the order could flip depending on which cab, bed and trim is measured. Either way, both trucks sit in a size class of their own, far longer than any full-size SUV that follows them in this ranking.

3. Ram HD: Ram’s Long Haul

Ram’s heavy-duty pickup is Ram HD Crew Cab at 260.80 inches in length. That puts it about six inches shy of the Silverado HD and Super Duty leaders.

Even so, it clears every SUV in this ranking by a wide margin, more than 30 inches over the longest of them. The length is tied to the Crew Cab body style, so other versions of the Ram HD may measure differently.

4. Toyota Tundra: A Full-Size Crew Cab

Toyota’s Tundra CrewMax length stretches 252.50 inches, the shortest of the four pickups here. Even so, it runs about two feet longer than the biggest SUVs further down the list.

The CrewMax body is the one measured, and it still demands a long driveway and a roomy garage. Other cab and bed pairings of the Tundra are not covered by this number, so the figure reflects one specific configuration, measured for a pickup that still tops 250 inches.

5. Cadillac Escalade IQL: The Electric Giant

The longest SUV in this ranking is Cadillac’s extended electric model. The 2026 Escalade IQL measures measures 228.5 inches long, edging out every other SUV on the list.

Its length still trails the Tundra CrewMax by 24 inches, so the pickups keep a clear lead overall. Among SUVs, though, it sits 1.5 inches ahead of the next entry, a small but real edge for anyone shopping on size alone, and a reminder that the IQL tag marks the stretched body.

6. Cadillac Escalade ESV: The Extended Luxury Hauler

Cadillac’s long-wheelbase Escalade, the Escalade ESV at 227 inches, is 227 inches long on a 134-inch wheelbase. That is only 1.5 inches shorter than the IQL.

The 134-inch wheelbase is the distance between the front and rear axles, and it accounts for much of the ESV’s extra length. The figure comes from a July 2024 roundup, so newer model years may be measured slightly differently. Even so, it remains one of the three longest SUVs here.

7. Jeep Grand Wagoneer L: A Wagoneer Stretched Out

Jeep’s flagship stretches to 226.7 inches end to end, according to Grand Wagoneer L. That leaves the Grand Wagoneer L just 0.3 inch shorter than the Escalade ESV.

The two Cadillacs and this Jeep are separated by less than two inches, close enough that small differences in trim or measurement method could reorder them. All three sit comfortably above the 220-inch mark that qualifies a vehicle for this list, and the Wagoneer L ranks third among the SUVs.

8. Chevrolet Suburban: The Family Veteran

The 2025 Chevrolet Suburban at 226.3 inches is 226.3 inches long. That is a hair under the Grand Wagoneer L, with only 0.4 inch separating the two.

The tiny gap shows how closely the mainstream Chevrolet matches its luxury competitors for sheer length, even though its price tag is not part of this ranking. The measurement is for the 2025 model year, so older versions of the Suburban may differ. It still ranks fourth among the SUVs on this list.

9. GMC Yukon XL: GMC’s Long Wheelbase Cousin

GMC’s extended SUV, the 2025 Yukon XL is 225.2 inches, measures 225.2 inches long. That is about an inch shorter than the Chevrolet Suburban.

A one-inch gap is small enough that few drivers would notice it in daily use. At more than 225 inches, though, it is long enough to challenge a tight garage, which is why it earns a place in this ranking. The figure applies to the 2025 model year.

10. Lincoln Navigator L: Lincoln’s Long Cut

Lincoln’s biggest SUV is the Navigator L length, which ups the ante at 221.9 inches long. That is more than three inches shorter than the Yukon XL but still comfortably past 220.

The Navigator L is the only Lincoln on the list, and it clears the Ford directly below it by just 0.2 inch. The measurement comes from a 2024 comparison, so a refreshed model may differ by a fraction.

11. Ford Expedition MAX: The Final Stretch

Ford rounds out the list with the 2025 Expedition MAX, which is 221.7 inches long. It lands just 0.2 inch behind the Lincoln Navigator L.

This tight spacing shows how closely packed the extended SUV class has become. Every SUV here stays under 229 inches, so only the pickups truly stand apart on length. The 221.7-inch figure is for the 2025 model year, so later redesigns may change the ranking.
